Is Yard Base compatible with DEFRA digital waste tracking?

Yes. Yard Base is listed by Defra on GOV.UK as compatible waste tracking software (BrandBuilt Ltd | Yard Base). Receipt-of-waste records are submitted from each inbound gate ticket within 2 working days, starting the day after you receive the waste. It runs alongside waste transfer notes and consignment notes.

Does Yard Base produce compliant Waste Transfer Notes?

Yes. Every non-hazardous inbound load produces a WTN with producer, carrier and consignee details, EWC code, SIC, quantity and signatures.

What about Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes?

Yes. Hazardous loads produce an HWCN with Parts A–E completed.

How does self-bill invoicing work?

Yard Base generates a branded self-bill VAT invoice, with VAT treatment built in, and emails it to the customer.

How much does Yard Base cost?

Do drivers need to install an app?
